more people care about skin cancer than mobile phones

s' true. When I lost my mobile phone and sent out a group love note for people's missing numbers, I was overwhelmbed by friend's concerns that I was getting sunburnt in the Hobart spring. 17-20degrees is fabulous sunburnworthy weather.

Visited Bellerive yesterday in preparation for the West Indies Test on November 17th when Miss Nic visits. (hope the Australian form slumps even more and there's a serious contest). The sunday social soccer thing has turned into three Sundays in a row, first at Cornelian Bay, then Blackwans Bay and finally Bellerive Beach. I have a fondness for Bellerive, there's something non-Hobartish about it, that makes me like it. Probably because the houses are less decrepit, the water and mountain views are more magnificent, there's lots of sunshine, lots of flowers and lots of sand.

Walked along the rocks and around towards Howrah, listened to # talk about his bike (he really has no idea how to do conversation) and tried not to sulk too much about being bad at touch footy.
