Longlost overseas acquaintance turns up one street away...
During my year overseas I had the fortune of living amongst communal hopsitality in Bristol. Sure, many of the other kids had their foibles, but still, it was a good place. Am still friends with Ms Ottoman, and have become reacquainted with another from the Bristol days, who now lives one street away from me. Had Sunday roast at his house on the weekend, followed by chocolate self saucing pudding, and I entertained the gang of kids, oh I do like long meals, drinking and dancing with people of all ages. One of the best nights.

There's the Lewy Tavern to subsitute for the surf club and Park Beach where you can always find the young and the restless...
