a return to earth: bello markets part two

Less exciting than sighting my fantasy stranger (and being as far from Erica Jong-like behaviour as possible) but much more real, engaging and regular-like, was bumping into Tiff who makes the most creative and original childrens clothes. Over a cuppa at the Chrysalis school, we chatted. I love her work, her detail and how she uses great materials. Asher looked very cute getting around in his orange twiglet pants at Womad. She hasn't been making so many clothes lately as she's studying visual arts, and was swapped notes about my lovely teacher Sergio who tutors life drawing in the area. She'd been looking through Renaissance era paintings and listened to me describe the joy in drawing woman with large bodies, beautiful curves. Lisa wants me to do a drawing for her too. It's wonderful to know other people who share your passion; and it made me get back in touch with my old teacher from Bapea Art Studios, to try and fit in some classes when next in Adelaide.
