Those funny boys
Was explaining to Mr Right about the boy at the hairdressers yesterday. He shampooed my hair, made mild conversatoin about the state of the rain and hovered behind the counter in his tshirt, cardigan, skinny jeans. Skinny jeans just low enough to show the underwear; unlike the skinny jeans wearer outside the Annandale last Friday night who had his entire white-clad butt on display. This morning as I tracked back home from the shops with my morning purchases (papers, chorizo, bananas, cwa cake) he waved to me from his bike as he descended the hill to work, not even using the pedals.
Speaking of brotherly types, my middle nephew has gone to town with his big brother duties. During the week when we were chatting he politely excused himself from the phone and could be heard very encouragingly telling his little brother to go and talk to Mummy, "or do you want to talk to Georgie instead?" Obviously the answer was affirmative, because I had a conversation with the toddler that was coached along in a very supportive manner. The way that he treats his brother like a little person, helps him have fun or count or learn words is just adorable. He's always been like this, has taken it on himself to entertain and amuse Ash and bring him up.
