How is the little guy doing?

Today he is 25 days old. My dad is currently talking at me so I am multi-tasking whilst I write this. He turned up unannounced and let himself in (which was somewhat of a shock) this afternoon, but he did do the dishes, fold the washing and take him for a walk in the pram, which was appreciated as between 4-7pm he tends to cry and having other people who will walk him, is good. Anyway, today he was good. First off, he slept through until 4:30am (and quite possibly could have slept longer). Then he slept again at 5:30, fed at 6:30 and lay asleep on his side next to me for the next hour and a half. This was great. Then we walked into the city to visit the childcare where his cousin goes. I arrived just as my sister returned with Ashie's backpack, we found Ashie inside waiting for both of us, checking all the arrivals because he was so excited about having his baby cousin visiting. Bec took Lu into the babies room, with Ash by her side and he happily lay there for half an hour, looking around, whilst the staff explained the set up. It was discovering another world that I'm now inhabiting, one filled with small children that amused me. A little girl came up to me in the kindy room, part of the mob of children surrounding Ashie as he cuddled Lu, and told me all about the baby that was being "given" to her by a friend that had 2 babies to "spare". She was precociously cute, but cut no slack with A who told her rudely and loudly to shush, and another girl to stop standing so close to him.
